I started losing my hair at 21. My entire 20’s and some of my 30’s were lost to tears of hopelessness. It was the bottom of my bottom and there wasn’t anyone out there at the time speaking about women’s hair loss, or at least no one I found that spoke to me and my situation.   Ultimately I learnt to live with my situation to where it no longer control me, that included being honest about my hair loss, and wig wearing with those around me.Then came that life changing day in 2003,  This business idea was born. My main aim was to give as much joy and hope to women that were going through hair challenges . To take them through the journey and give them hope.   We do provide diverse hair loss services all depending on customer's needs.  We do hair integrations for those clients that still have at least 10% of their hair and also offer hair replacement services for those that would have completely lost their hair through chemotherapy or the main types of alopecia and trichotillomania.  We have a wig making service  on site in our Northlink shopping Centre Salon.  The process for this is quite simple.  You call us and schedule your free consultation appointment , where we discuss your needs, choose colours , decide on length and the density of your wig, we then take your head measurements so that your wig would be a perfect fit.  The next appointment would be for your fitting and taking the wig with you. Custom made wigs - the process...

Our custom made wigs are crafted to your special requirements. They include an individually tailored head measurements and hair matched to your desired colour, texture, length and degree of curl.

The way your wig fits your head is very important. A good comfortable fit is necessary if you would like to wear your wig for a extended amount of time. For us to do a custom made wig , we require head measurements, colour, lenght and density required for the wig. For clients who can come in person for a consultation, we will take you through the process, and for cleints who live outside Christchurch or for some reason you can not  come in  person, we require you to measure your head  using a cloth tape measure that has not been stretched for accuracy. Below are the specific measurents required for a custom made wig. Once we get your requirements we will then start the wig making process that takes between 4-6 weeks. Our wigs are made from 100% real hair and can be styled to suit your needs.
